Born To Roll is a Ford initiative targeted at African American women. This campaign has evolved over the years since its initial creation but still maintains the same goal; celebrate the diversity and strength of women. This year we chose to celebrate this strength by choosing one woman who exemplified it in every aspect of her life, actress Nicole Ari Parker.
Most notably known for her role in the award-winning show Empire as well as the critically acclaimed independent film Boogie Nights, Parker represents not only professional perseverance and success but as a mom of two and an entrepreneur she also portrays versatility.
This year’s campaign concept focused on accentuating Parker’s versatility and the versatility of Ford SUVs by showing how seamlessly they fit into and help her with everyday aspects of her life.
As a sponsor for One MusicFest, the Southeast's #1 Progressive Urban Music Fest, a Ford branded lounge area is marketed on the One MusicFest app and on their social media accounts prior to the event. The lounge, Ford Sync Spot, is branded with several posters and a custom photo-op backdrop. The 2019 Edge and 2020 Explorer were also on display for patrons to view.
